Hi everyone! My name is Hazel Rose and I am from

Paparore school.

I am here to give you my reasons  why books are better

than movies. Now, let's get started.

Did you know that books can help you way more than movies?

Books help your  imagination thrive.

I think books empower me to improve my reading skills  more.

 

3 reasons

What does that mean? “Books make you imaginative.”

Reading creates a superior picture in my head.

Like in the book Twilight,

I imagined Bella would be much cuter and taller.

in the book she loved

dresses but in the

movie she loved wearing jeans, shirts and long sleeve clothes.

I was so disappointing.

The Books encouraged me  to stretch

my imagination through the descriptive

vocabulary which painted a clear picture in my head.

You will have more imagination if you read and

not watch movies because the movie gives the story.

But if you read you will grow your own imagination

and as an added bonus, you will not get square eyes. 

Books tell us more history.

Reading a book can make you learn more. 

and that means that you can read a book that was

in the 1950S.

You can learn what actually happened in world war 1 

and maybe even world war 2.

So- you should read history books.

History movies show love story’s but that 

isn't actually what the war is based on.

It is all for entertainment. Do you think the soldier’s

were entertained?

Books give you information that can help you in the real  world.

Reading a book about life and what can help you means you

will know what to do in bad situations.

You will be proud of yourself because you got through the

bad situations  and you can finally move on.

Movies don’t always help in real life because they are

more dramatic. And the actress ain't always that

good.

Conclusion

So for all you movie freaks out there this is why I

think books are better than movies.  My imagination is very strong. 

FYI I am a movie freak as well don’t judge me so that is why

I think books are way better that movies.

Walt: We are leaning about the people in the our community and the jobs they do.

How to make a paper mache at home.

            How to make a paper mache

You will have to rip some newspaper into small pieces, big pieces, long pieces and short pieces.

Get a big bowl and a dessert bowl.

Now we need to make the plaster. You will need flower and warm water and it needs to be nice and silky and smooth.

Now when you're finished grab a balloon and blow it up to the size that you want it to be.

Now grab the plaster and put it onto your balloon then grab the new paper then put it on the plaster.

Now do it all over the balloon.

In between the layers it has to fully dry.

Repeat three layers.

Two layers of white paper pieces use the same steps in step 7 but with white paper.

Now you can paint your paper mache.

thunder and Rainning

On wednesday night I heard dandanda ! Raining it was heavy and put a spite through my roof and I heard my cat Princess and my mums pet Rocssy they were fighting and they were scared. My blackte was cold and I was looking at that spite forever the rain was like clowee annoying selfish little girl. The thunder if I heard it it will sound like this KABOOM!!! Like my brother who is really really really annoying little boy.

it was quite easy for me because all I hade to do was write and draw what I saw,felt,heard.

halloween

Walt : we are learning to write creative,scary stories.

I am scared of clowns,the belt,toilet,animals,words

One day there was a girl named Hazel

she was only 10 years old. At halloween Hazel went out. She was

walking and then a second later she was at a house and all of a

sudden

she was wondering where she was. She

could not find her family

then Hazel heard a scream in  the house

Hazel was lonely cooled and

it was getting dark soon. Hazel heard a noise

sound in the `house she went closer and

closer and closer than an arm

came out and she thought it was a clown

but it was just a man named bob she said

can you help me find

my family please  man and bob said

come closer Hazel said why then the man was

chasing after her she said  stop stop please then

the man got her and bring her in the house hazel

was screaming

for help  no one came the man pot her in this room

and she said let me go you little piece of rat let me go  ! 

 the next day Hazel's family was looking all over for her

and they called the police and the police could not find

her then it started to rain down on Hazel's family

her mother was crying so was the

clouds they went back inside put the fire on and had dinner.

When Hazel was asleep the man  came in and

took her in his bedroom and then Hazel woke up screaming

like so

the man said get ready to be screaming he chucked her on the bed and the man

lock her in with a clown the girl did not know it was in here the clown

was big and long and scary

the clown was named pennywise the dancing clown

the clown went closer closer to Hazel and then he said boo behind 

her Hazel turnt around there he was Hazel said n n nice

clown it said hi Hazel waking to her slowly and then she closed her

eyes and then he ate her

all up in one gulp the man came back the

clown ran out bob said

no what have I done.

   it was quite easy for me.
